to see what we "do" on a daily basis.

General Lesson Over View: My
classes (Grades K-5)come two times a week for 30 minutes(k-3) and 40 minutes 4-5
grades. All classes need
running shoes, and 4 and 5th grades need a pair of shorts and a change of shirt.
Deodorant is recommended.
Kindergarten, First, Second, Third Grades: 30 minutes
long, twice a week. Warm Ups consist of toe touches, legs together, legs apart.
Then right leg over left, then left over right. Arms next- Right arm up pull it
behind your head, then left arm. 10 watermelon jacks (jumping jacks), and 2
laps. As year progresses we add in other exercises from our ABSEF program. Kids
meet in the center of the gym for warm ups, until later in the year when they
have learned general space and can spread out safely. After warm ups we head
into our activity.
Fourth, Fifth Grades: 40 minutes, twice a week. Individual warm up.
Scattered around the gym. It consists of a variety of exercises such as: push
ups, sit ups, mountain climbers, plyometic jumps, jumping jacks. 10-25 of each.
Warm up lasts 4-5 minutes. Change of cloths takes 3-4 minutes at beginning and
end of class. Skill/ activity 25-30 minutes.
